Good for: Deep coir that reaches into boot treads: 2 in for the deepest scrape, 1 in when the mat sits close to a door.
Keep in mind: Its thickness needs room under the door, and with no rubber underside it sits best in a mat recess or against the threshold.
Where it works: A covered entry, a mat recess, or the floor just inside the door.
Care: Shake it out, sweep it or vacuum it. If it gets soaked, stand it on edge to dry before you put it back down.
